Bol is the most touristic place of the island best known by its famous Golden Cape beach. It has all the features tourists are looking for. Great range of accommodation facilities, numerous restaurants and cafes, recreational possibilities and not lacking cultural offer. Speaking about activities we must mention windsurfing as the sea channel between the island of Brač and Hvar and its wind provide ideal conditions for windsurfing and it made Bol famous by it.

Nearby places to visit while staying in Bol are Murvica, Gornji Humac and Pražnica and of course, St Vid Mountain.

Cultural highlight of Bol is Dominican Monastery built in 1475. with Tintoretto work, the altarpiece of the Madonna with Child and Saints Catherine, Magdalene, Peter, Dominic and Andrew painted for the main altar of the Dominican church of St. Mary.

And the last thing, the one that Bol is most famous for is Zlatni rat (Golden Cape) beach. 2 km walk along the waterfront, Bol’s promenade, will take you to this landmark of the island, uniquely shaped cape with a tip that changes its shape according to sea current.
